The Known Unknowns

Seriously, how can you not love this guy? Matt "Starr" Starr is the heart of the band. Mostly because you can't live without his beats. Snap! Anyway, yes we've got a drummer whose last (and primary) name is Starr. Ringo has denied his mother a paternity test, but those back-child support checks just keep on coming. You be the judge. Starr's also the driving creative force behind several of our latest hits, including "Suggested Donation" and "Destiny Is Cheap". His influences are all over the map (not unlike the rest of us -- except Johnny, who's firmly located at one spot on the map), ranging from Belle & Sebastian to Modest Mouse to the Velvet Underground to Kelly friggin' Clarkson.
